How we verify age
At the site gate. First time you visit our site, an age gate appears confirming you are 19+. By confirming, you’re representing that you meet the legal age requirement in your province. Once confirmed, a cookie remembers your confirmation for 30 days. After that, the gate appears again.
At checkout. Before completing an order, you confirm your date of birth and acknowledge the age requirement. The billing details you provide must match a verifiable identity meeting the age requirement. If our systems flag an order (unusual address, suspicious billing details), we may request additional ID verification before shipping.
Legal age by province
Nicotine product age of majority across Canada:
- 18+: Quebec, Manitoba
- 19+: Ontario, BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, PEI, Newfoundland and Labrador, Yukon, NWT, Nunavut
We enforce 19+ as our floor in most provinces, and 18+ for Quebec and Manitoba billing addresses (where provincial law allows). We do not ship to anyone under the legal age in their province.
If you’re under 19
Don’t enter the site or place an order. We don’t knowingly sell to underage buyers and our age verification, while imperfect, is designed to reduce that risk. If we discover an order was placed by an underage buyer, we cancel and refund.
If you’re a parent concerned about a minor accessing this site, the standard browser parental controls work — block this domain at the network or device level.
Why we ask
It’s federal and provincial law in Canada. The Tobacco and Vaping Products Act (federal) and provincial tobacco-control acts set minimum age requirements for nicotine products. Nicotine pouches fall within those frameworks even though they aren’t combustible.
There’s also a health rationale: nicotine has documented effects on the developing brain (up to about age 25), and the Public Health Agency of Canada advises against use by anyone under the legal age.
What happens if you fail age verification
If our checkout flags your order for age verification reasons (age below threshold based on date of birth provided, billing details mismatch, etc.), we will cancel the order, refund the full amount including shipping, and may flag the account for future review. We don’t release the order to delivery.
